In view of the evolving epidemiological situation, and as more relevant scientific evidence becomes available, including on the need for repeated immunisation to provide protection against emerging variants or the need to receive booster doses at regular intervals, the Commission, supported by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, should continue to regularly review this Recommendation, in particular once a significant level of vaccination uptake has been reached.
